Aubree Felderhoff: Welcome back to the show. I'm sure you've noticed by now that this show looks different Everything looks different including the title. That's right. I have decided to transition mom intentional over to mold-free mom and I want to explain why if You have been following my show for any length of time I'm sure that you have heard tidbits of my story that at the beginning of my mother had journey I got struck with a mystery chronic illness where I collected dozens of diagnoses went to over 30 doctors, spent over $250,000 chasing protocols and supplements all over the nation. And yet I remained sick. After almost a decade, we found our answer and I thought then that I was doing everything right to heal. And yet... Just recently, we were struck again with mold, this time after a remodeling project in our house that didn't go so well. And our family was displaced. We bounced between Airbnb's for months as we remediated our home and tried to make it a safe place for us to enter again. And if you missed any of that story, it is just a few episodes back in my mold mini series on the podcast. But it was through this experience that I really had to sit down and reflect. Because I knew that the first time that my family suffered through mold illness, I could blame it on bad genes, bad luck, bad timing. But the second time that we went through it, that didn't sit right with me. It didn't make sense because I had done quote unquote, everything right. I had taken every preventative measure We had done everything in our power to make sure that our family never suffered with mold again. And yet it happened anyway. I knew it wasn't a coincidence. And so I began to really reflect and speak with God and pray about it. And I realized that I was being called to help families heal from mold. That Mom Intentional has been a beautiful blessing in my life where I've been able to help so many moms who are struggling with the same things I struggled with. feeling scattered, not feeling like they are intentional, like they're flying by the seat of their pants. But the root cause of that for me was chronic illness. And I knew that it was now time after being an expert, whether I wanna call myself that or not, that's what I am after almost 12 years of dealing with mold toxicity, it's time for me to help those who are struggling like I did. so I want to introduce you to Mold Free Mom. mold-free mom is not just for people who already know that they have mold and are trying to heal. It's really for anybody who is struggling with chronic illness or unexplained symptoms or continuously seeing doctors and following their advice and following their protocols and not feeling as if they are making progress. Or maybe your kids are chronically sick and you can't figure it out and you've always been curious if there's something else going on behind the scenes. My focus for the podcast will be on helping families to learn how to create a toxin-free home, learn how to detox and use the evidence-based facts that I have learned along this journey in order to promote true healing and not guesswork. So if you personally have been sick for years with unexplained symptoms, or if someone in your family has and nothing seems to work, then I hope that this podcast is a guiding light for you. And if that is not you, I hope that you still listen and use this podcast as a free educational source to help promote healthy living within your house and your body and mold prevention because mold is not going anywhere, unfortunately. Questions This Episode Answers
Why did you change from Mom Intentional to Mold Free Mom?
I realized I was being called to help families heal from mold after my family was struck with mold exposure twice, including recently after a remodeling project. The root cause of my scattered feelings and chronic illness was mold-related illness, and after almost 12 years of dealing with mycotoxin exposure, I knew it was time to help others who are struggling like I did.
How much did you spend trying to get better from mold illness?
I spent over $250,000 chasing protocols and supplements all over the nation during my decade-long journey to find answers. I went to over 30 doctors and collected dozens of diagnoses, yet I remained sick until we finally discovered mold was the root cause.
What happened during your recent mold exposure?
We were struck with mold again after a remodeling project in our house that didn't go well. Our family was displaced and we bounced between Airbnbs for months while we remediated our home and tried to make it safe for us to enter again.
Is your podcast only for people who already know they have mold?
No, Mold Free Mom is for anybody struggling with chronic illness or unexplained symptoms, continuously seeing doctors without making progress, or wondering if their chronically sick kids might have something else going on behind the scenes. It's also educational for mold prevention even if you're not currently dealing with mold-related illness.
Do you have a free way to check if my symptoms might be from mold?
Yes, I have a free mold symptom assessment on my website at moldfreemom.com. You can take this assessment in under 10 minutes and get a good idea if any symptoms or medical conditions you're experiencing might be due to mold exposure.
What will you focus on in the new podcast?
My focus will be on helping families learn how to create a toxin-free home, learn how to detox, and use evidence-based facts I've learned to promote true healing rather than guesswork. I want to provide practical guidance for families dealing with mold-related illness and prevention.
How long have you been dealing with mold illness?
I've been dealing with mold-related illness for almost 12 years total. It started at the beginning of my motherhood journey with a mystery chronic illness that took almost a decade to properly identify, and then we experienced it again recently.
What other resources do you have available besides the podcast?
On moldfreemom.com, I have information about consults, a comprehensive FAQ section addressing common questions I've received, and a mold AI bot specifically designed to help navigate mold-related questions. These resources are designed to help guide your next steps in addressing potential mold exposure.

Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner | Mold Recovery Concierge | Certified Primal Health Coach | Master Personal Trainer
Aubree spent 12 years and more than $250,000 searching for answers to a mystery chronic illness that 30-plus doctors couldn't solve. The first culprit was a mycotoxin-overloaded home that triggered a cascade of symptoms nobody could trace back to the source. After finally identifying the connection, remediating, and rebuilding her health, she faced a second exposure years later when water damage in her next home brought the symptoms flooding back.
That second experience is what shaped everything. She found a physician who understood antifungal treatment, completed neuroplasticity training, and fully recovered. Having navigated mold illness twice, from two different sources, she understands both how it starts and how it ends.
Aubree is a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), a Certified Primal Health Coach, NASM Certified Trainer, and Cooper Clinic Certified. Before mold illness defined her life, she spent 14 years in elite fitness as a national champion collegiate gymnast. She brings that same discipline and evidence-based approach to mold recovery, helping families get clear answers faster, without the decade of wrong turns she endured.
